Mr. Darren Christian
Mr. Darren Christian, Principal
I have been teaching for 20 years and in Senior Leadership for 10 years. SNHS is my fourth school. I have held many diverse roles including behaviour management, curriculum, timetabling and line management of teaching and learning. I was also Acting Principal before arriving at SNHS. Becoming Principal at this great school is something that I am immensely proud of.
Mr. Andrew Foster
Senior Vice Principal
I was appointed as Deputy Headteacher at SNHS in April 2001. I have taught mathematics throughout that time and my management responsibilities have always involved both Curriculum and Pastoral elements. I was the Associate Headteacher for four years, taking on the Headteacher role for two days a week. The new Principal has developed a much more dynamic Senior Leadership Team and I am proud to be the Senior Vice Principal in this new structure.
Mrs. Samantha Johnson
I was appointed as Assistant Principal at SNHS in January 2014. Prior to this, I spent 12 years at another Kirklees school as a Head of Year, Achievement Coordinator and finally as the school SENCO. I started my career in 1999, teaching Science in Wakefield, gaining promotion to Head of Year at the end of my first year.
Mrs. Victoria Mason
I joined SNHS as a science teacher in 2003 and in 2011 I became a Head of Year. In September 2017 I was appointed as Assistant Principal and became responsible for the outcomes of our students. My role includes the analysis of assessment data, target setting and reports. My aim is for every student at our school to reach their potential.
Mrs. Ginny Wood
Director of Finance and Resources
I was appointed as School Business Manager at SNHS in December 2012 with my role evolving to Director of Finance & Resources within the Senior Leadership Team. The whole of my 37 year career has been within Local Government finance with the last 13 years being specifically based directly in schools, however the previous 13 years to that were also directly linked to providing financial support to schools.
