Harvest Festival

Our Harvest Festival this year will be on Friday 26th October 2018. We would be very grateful for contributions of tins and packets for our harvest collection which will be donated to the Christian African Relief Trust. This charity works hard in Africa to not only provide food but other vital supplies too. In addition to tins and packets we are asking for items of stationery, bars of soap, tubes of toothpaste, new toothbrushes, flannels, new bandages, plasters, new hairbrushes and combs.

This charity does remarkable work and we are proud to be giving our support. We have in the past been able to send amazing amounts of produce to Africa. This year we are asking every pupil to bring in at least one item for our Harvest Festival and if at all possible a donation of at least 10p to help with transportation costs.

The recent rising fuel costs will hit charities who rely on voluntary donations very hard indeed. As well as helping people in need in Africa we have also, traditionally, sent parcels to some people in the local area.

If you are aware of anyone living in the area who would appreciate a harvest parcel, please contact Mr Davies Unfortunately due to lack of space we are unable to invite parents into school for the Harvest Assembly itself.

We would like to thank you in advance for your support in helping our school continue to make a difference in the lives of the needy.
