Huddersfield Examiner have provided the wrong forecast budget figures for this school

Last night the Huddersfield Examiner posted an article on their interpretation of what they have perceived to be the Government’s plans for cutting school funding. Whilst there are plans in place for a new National Funding Formula, the figures quoted in last night’s paper are incorrect. The DfE’s estimates of the potential impact of this new formula for this school are estimated to be a cut of approx. £89,000. These figures are illustrative and not actual.

There will be protection in place, so that no school will see a drop in overall funding of -3% per pupil as a result of the new national Funding Formula.

The School and the Governors are well aware of the financial climate facing the school and this is being managed.
