Compulsory Revision Sessions

Dear parent carer
As you aware the GCSE exams have now started. In assembly this week it was explained to the students how the GCSE exam period will be organised regarding their timetables.
For this half term (school finishes for half term on Friday 23rd May) there are no changes to the students timetables and they are required to be in school full time.

After half term (week beginning Monday 2nd June) students will only be required to attend school when they have an exam or when there is a compulsory revision session. If students do not have an exam or a revision session they need to study at home . The students have been given a timetable for after half term that shows when the GCSE exams and compulsory revision sessions are.

It is important that the students attend these compulsory revision sessions as teachers will be going through vital exam revision / preparation. Students must attend school in full school uniform throughout the exam period.   If after half term  students have an exam in the morning and afternoon of the same day the School Library will be available for quiet study between exams.
There is a copy of the timetable on the school website and I have also attached one to this email.

If you require any more information regarding procedures for GCSE exams or need to look the GCSE exam timetable please see the Exam Section on the school website.
If you have any question or queries please contact either Mr Cooney or myself at school.

Mr N.  Kirby
Head of Year 11
