STEM Challenge at Huddersfield University

IMG 1091Mr Roper & Mrs Mills took 12 Y9 pupils to Huddersfield University to take part in a Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths challenge day. Schools from across the area were involved and pupils took part in 4 different challenges in mixed school teams. The challenges were to program a robot, build a bridge, make an electric car and to do an “eFit” drawing. The pupils had a fantastic day out and we were in the overall winning team which means we will be competing in the UK finals next year. GalleryLink
