Food Revolution Day

IMG 1636Year 9 Food Technology pupils at SNHS took part in the Food Revolution Day on Friday 16th May.


This was a day of global action spearheaded by Jamie Oliver, to inspire children to get excited about cooking fresh, healthy food from scratch.
Watching Jamie live via a projector screen, the pupils learnt how to make deliciously colorful Rainbow Salad WrapsLink packed with a tasty mix of fruit and vegetables, while joining more than 121 countries and 9030 schools across the world to support Food Revolution Day- 237,822 participants in all.

They then took part in this global cooking lesson, putting these skills into action making wraps of their own.
