Art, Design and Technology Exhibition

2013logoMs Foulds, Mr Haigh and the staff of the Design and Technology and Art departments are very pleased to invite you to join us at our annual
ART, DESIGN AND TECHNOLOGY EXHIBITION
Taking place in the Salendine Hall on Thursday June 27th from 5pm to 7.30pm

Now into its eighth year, our annual exhibition offers a great opportunity for our current GCSE pupils to come along with their families to see and celebrate everything they have achieved in Art and Design and Technology. This is our only opportunity to display pupils’ work in its entirety and the exhibition is always visually spectacular.

Recently, invitations and emails went out to Year 11 pupils, Year 10 pupils and friends of the school. As well as being an opportunity to celebrate the hard work and extensive efforts of our Year 11 pupils, it is also a great chance for pupils in other years to see the creativity and quality of work that is possible.

We do hope to see you on the evening for a complimentary drink and to enjoy the great variety of work that will be on display.

dtshoplogo150Following on from the great reception it enjoyed last year, the DT Shop is happy to be returning to the Art and Design and Technology exhibition. There will be products designed and made by Year 9 pupils for sale, including items made using the badge makers and kiln bought using the proceeds from last year’s hard work. Prices start at just 25 pence, so it is well worth bringing a little loose change with you.
All money raised by the DT Shop will go towards buying new equipment and developing new learning opportunities for pupils in the Design and Technology department.
