French Trip 2014- Château d’Ebblinghem

ebblingham41 pupils from Y8 and Y7 had a great time in Saint Omer, in the North of France from Saturday 21st – Tuesday 24th June.
They took part in a range of cultural activities.  These included visiting one of the oldest bakeries in France, La Boulangerie Escoeuilles, where they saw how traditional bread is made and they had a freshly baked pain au chocolat to eat.
After having an hour of fun and sun on the beach of Boulogne they then visited the famous Sea Life Centre Nausicaa.  On another day students went wild in Bellewaerde Theme Park, Belgium which involved also seeing various types of wildlife including tigers, monkeys, giraffes and zebras.  Much fun was had by all!
All the pupils on the trip were a real credit to the school as they behaved well at all times.  They did Salendine Nook proud! A big thank you to all the students and staff who took part including Mrs Muzeau-Clarke, Mr Gorton, Mr Moore and Miss Wadsworth.
