Geography Field Trips

fieldtrip01On 24th, 25th and 27th June our Year 7 pupils went on a geography fieldtrip to Castleton in the Peak District to investigate the impacts of tourism in a honeypot site. They carried out a variety of surveys in the village including a traffic , land use and environmental survey. They also sketched the landscape and enjoyed visiting Treak Cliff Cavern – a cave with amazing limestone features including stalactites and stalagmites.
