Charity Skydive

Earlier this year, Year 9 chose Make a Wish as their charity of the year. Some fundraising has taken place, but we were running short of our £750 target.

However, a fearless group of staff have come to the rescue. They have volunteered for the opportunity to do a 10,000ft skydive to help Year 9 raise enough money to meet their target.

We will be holding a marathon rowing event to raise money for the children's ward at HRI and equipment for the new school sports hall which is being built.

This will be an inter form event, each form will need to select 3-5 people to represent them and to help support Mr Mitchell, who is one of our school governor's who has set a target to row 26.2 miles.

Comic Relief Fri,15th/Mar/2013

rnd2013As part of the national fund-raising for Comic Relief, we are going to hold a 'Non-Uniform Day' for all pupils.  For the privilege of not wearing school dress for this one special day, pupils will be expected to make a minimum donation of £1.00.  We hope that parents will support us in ensuring that their son or daughter wears sensible casual clothing appropriate for School.  In addition pupils will be allowed to wear their red noses if they wish.

This year we are allowing those who raise £25 sponsorship in advance, the opportunity to wear fancy dress.  This is being co-ordinated by Heads of Year.
